Comptoir Libanais teams with HMSHost International for London Stansted opening

UK. Lebanese cuisine specialist Comptoir Libanais has partnered with HMSHost to open a new restaurant at London Stansted Airport.

The restaurant chain, which has outlets across the UK and in France, Dubai and The Netherlands, was founded by Lebanese food lover and cookbooks author Tony Kitous in 2008.

Its fully Halal menu features traditional shawarma dishes, vegetarian options and burgers based on Lebanese food and flavours. Hot and cold mezze, Lebanese wraps and marinated grills and tagines are also included.

Comptoir Libanais’ extensive breakfast menu is highlighted at the new airport restaurant. It includes a Signature Comptoir Breakfast which offers fried egg seasoned with sumac or scrambled egg; turkey bacon; spiced lamb sausage; Lebanese potatoes; za’atar-roasted mushroom; chargrilled tomato and spiced hummus.

Also on offer is Za’atar & Cheese Man’ousha oven-baked flatbread with akawi cheese, nigella seeds, wild thyme & fresh mint along with a range of pastries, pancakes and granola.
