Coindrum continues European expansion with second German installation

GERMANY. Coindrum has installed a self-service currency exchange unit at Munich Memmingen Airport. It is the company’s second installation in Germany, following its previously announced project with Heinemann at Berlin Schönefeld.

The Coindrum kiosks allow passengers to deposit leftover coins before departure and receive a duty free shopping voucher worth 10% more than the deposited coins.

The Coindrum unit in Munich Memmingen is located at the entrance to the walk-through duty free store. The airport’s Head of Non-Aviation Andreas Loritz commented: “We welcome the new partnership with Coindrum and are delighted to offer our passengers a great new convenience service combined with extra value to spend on our product range.”
