Coccinelle to showcase summer collection and inflight exclusives in Cannes

Coccinelle will be showcasing its Spring/Summer 2020 collection at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Bay Village, Suite 1A).

The two lines in the collection are called ‘Music is in the air’ and ‘Ready for Vacation’ and were inspired by female musical icons and Mediterranean summer destinations.

The ‘Music is in the air’ range adds a rock and roll twist to Coccinelle’s collection, and looks to musical icons Carly Simon and Lou Doillon for style inspiration. It features natural leather shoulder bags in dark hues, decorated with studs, soft-rock details, and guilded brass guitar pic clasps.

‘Ready for Vacation’ aims to take customers to the beach (‘à la plage’) and features a couple of new bag styles that feature shoulder and cross-body straps. This includes the Florence bag which is made from croco print leather, and the soft suede Marvin bag. The range also includes the Arlettis, Ambrine and Zaniah styles which are updated with a rainbow python print.

According to Coccinelle Commercial Director Emanuele Mazziotta, “Travel retail will continue to be considered a pivotal channel in Coccinelle’s global expansion and growth.” In light of this, the brand will continue to enhance its offering and expand its presence in the channel — particularly its cruise and inflight business. 

As part of this strategy, Coccinelle has launched an exclusive inflight capsule collection onboard selected airlines. The capsule collection is made up of  two models: a mini Arlettis bag and a mini-cross-body bag.

Coccinelle currently has more than 170 travel retail doors worldwide.
