CHINA. L’Oréal Group and CNSC senior management were out in force this Sunday (9 May) at an official opening and store tour to celebrate a new partnership between the two companies at CNSC Sanya International Duty Free Plaza.
Lancôme and Kiehl’s are the first two L’Oréal Group brands to be represented at the new store, which was inaugurated last December. Other L’Oréal Group brands will follow, including Biotherm, Vichy, Shu Uemura and Giorgio Armani.
CNSC said that it had carefully paved the way for the two debut major brands from L’Oréal Group to enter the market in the space of just two months and had met L’Oréal’s strict qualitative requirements.
“Thanks to the close cooperation between CNSC and L’Oréal Group, the two parties have jointly created a record-breaking speed for the opening of the L’Oréal Group’s brands in Hainan,” CNSC said.
In line with domestic and foreign trends, more exciting brands, including those from The Estée Lauder Companies, will launch at the Sanya store in the near future, CNSC said.
Meanwhile, based on the successful results of Breitling and other leading Swiss watch brands, together with several innovations that include the island’s debut golf-related store and first artisan and crafts duty free shop as well as a strong brand matrix, CNSC said that it has laid a solid foundation for the future.
