Clinique Take The Day Off Micellar Cleansing Towelettes for Face & Eyes have been introduced to Clinique travel retail locations worldwide.
The over-sized wipes are saturated with cleanser that claim to remove dirt, waterproof mascara and long-wearing make-up. They come in a portable packet and cleanse the face without the need for rinsing.
According to Clinique, micelles are spheres formed by molecules which have one side that is attracted to water and one side attracted to oil. When they come in contact with the skin, the micelles break open, take up anything that isn’t water and then close again. The cloth then sweeps it all away. The micellar technology is supported by a blend of emollient, moisturising and skin conditioning ingredients. 100% fragrance free and allergy tested, the towelettes are described as suitable for all skin types.
