CircleSquare names Judien Wang as Head of Digital

Judien Wang will play an important role in making digital pay for CircleSquare’s brand clients

CHINA (HONG KONG). Experiential marketing, brand activation and consumer engagement specialist CircleSquare has appointed Judien Wang as Head of Digital.

Wang is based in Hong Kong and will spearhead the company’s fast-evolving digital services portfolio.

CircleSquare said his appointment underlines its ambitious digital strategy. CircleSquare – whose client base includes L’Oréal, Diageo, Mondelez and LVMH – recently acquired a controlling stake in Swiss digital marketing agency, comtogether. It also launched the travel retail-focused Connected Shopper Platform and an in-house ‘content factory’.

Wang joins CircleSquare from Weber Shandwick in Hong Kong, where his responsibilities included digital strategy, technical consultancy and project management. His work experience also includes Digital Producer for Ogilvy & Mather in Hong Kong and analyst for Nielsen, in Guangzhou, China.

CircleSquare Managing Partner Stéphane Zermatten said: “We wanted to employ someone from outside the travel retail industry to bring a fresh perspective to our digital efforts and Judien’s experience fits the bill perfectly.

“Everyone is talking about omnichannel at the moment, but few people truly understand the meaning of the word. It’s not about doing something in every channel, but about having every touchpoint working together to deliver a personalised and engaging story to consumers along their entire shopper journey.

“Judien has really bought into our strategy on that front and will have an important role to play in making digital pay for our brand clients.”
