Choc Stop celebrates victory in F1 promotion – 07/04/09

A Danson hostess offers free samples of speciality F1 chocolates to passengers at Kuala Lumpur International Airport

MALAYSIA. Choc Stop International, in co-operation with Malaysian chocolate brand Danson, is holding a Formula One promotion at Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s (KLIA) satellite building.

Choc Stop and parent DR Group Holdings were profiled in the May 08 issue of The Moodie Report Digital Print Edition

The duty free confectionery importer and retailer’s latest promotion, which coincided with last weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix held at the Sepang Circuit, has generated a significant sales boost since it began on 1 April. Daily sales have grown more than +105% over the period to date, the retailer said.

As part of the promotion, a Danson hostess is distributing speciality F1 car-themed chocolates and handmade Danson Durian chocolates at tasting sessions – as well as being available for photo opportunities with inquisitive travellers.

Choc Stop International is part of DR Group Holdings, one of Malaysia’s longest established duty free companies.
