China Duty Free Group to reopen Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex on 21 September

China Duty Free announces the good news on WeChat

CHINA. In news that China Duty Free Group and its brand partners had been desperately hoping for, the retailer will tomorrow reopen the Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex and CDF Mall in Haitang Bay.

The reopening at 10am in the morning (21 September) comes 47 days after the acclaimed retail complex was forced to close on 5 August because of the COVID-19 outbreak on the island.

The reopening is particularly timely with the crucial Golden Week holiday period, which traditionally kicks off with a late September rush, just days away.

The store will be open from 10am to 6pm daily. CDFG announced on WeChat (pictured right) that it has implemented all COVID prevention measures according to government requirements.

Customers need to wear masks, show a health code and have their temperature taken to enter the store.

September 22 will be a special cdf members day, with multiple promotions to be rolled out online and offline.

As reported, fellow Sanya duty free retailers CNSC and Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex (HTDF) reopened on 16 September after being shuttered since 4 August.

Today’s news prompted a positive response on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong
