China Duty Free Group and brand partners upgrade watches & jewellery experience in Sanya

CHINA (HAINAN). China Duty Free Group (CDFG) and key brand partners have opened a series of new stores at the Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex in Hainan that lift the quality of the watches & jewellery experience.

On 5 September French jewellery house Boucheron opened its first store in Hainan. The store features an exclusive private VIP salon for visitors in an “elegant, warm and comfortable environment”.

In addition to Quatre, Serpent Bohème, Jack de Boucheron and other classic jewellery lines, the vivid Plume de Paon necklace peacock feather series is also displayed, highlighting the craftsmanship and ingenuity of the aristocratic family workshop.

Other watch and jewellery brands at Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex have also refurbished their stores and improved layouts, among them Qeelin, Panerai, Chopard and Longines.

On 17 September the new-look Qeelin boutique shop was unveiled, with the brand’s “classic and fashionable” design style. The brand’s Wulu collection is prominently displayed, with carved ‘Wulu’ flowers featuring as elements of the wooden walls to create an “elegant aesthetic space” in the shop.

On 25 September, a newly upgraded 67sq m Panerai boutique was officially opened. The shop adopted a new design taking cues from the underwater world, along with bronze and wood interiors and marble floors. CDFG said: “It upholds the design tradition of brand stores and showcases pure Italian charm, so as to arouse the historical origin of Panerai and the Royal Italian Navy’s enthusiasm for the sea and the spirit of bold exploration.”
