Champagne Lanson serves an ace with Wimbledon promotion

Champagne Lanson has introduced its own version of Wimbledon, the world’s leading lawn-tennis tournament, to Dubai International.

Throughout June, Lanson is partnering with Dubai Duty Free in a series of promotions that underline its long-term sponsorship of the tennis event.

The main promotional area, located in Emirates Airline Terminal 3, features a mini tennis court and tennis umpire’s chair, set against a wall showcasing Champagne Lanson’s 75cl Black and Rosé labels.

The promotion also includes a ‘buy four, take five’ bottles offer.

On-pack promotional pouches, designed to mimic the polo shirts worn by the Wimbledon ball boys and girls, feature the Wimbledon Championships logo and a miniature tennis ball on the zip. The Black Label is presented in a royal blue pouch, and the Rosé Label in pink.

Champagne Lanson Travel Retail Director Olivier de La Giraudiere said: “The Middle East is an important region for Champagne Lanson, one that we are keen to expand in. We have forecasted that we should sell four times the amount of product that we would normally do this time of year, so this promotion is a great sales tool.”
