Central and Eastern Europe Travel Retail Association to host forum in Budapest

CENTRAL/EASTERN EUROPE. The Central and Eastern Europe Travel Retail Association (CEETRA) is to host its second Travel Retail Forum in Budapest on 30 May. It will be hosted by Budapest Airport.

The programme will include an update about pressing issues for travel retailers and airports in the region, said the association. Topics include an update on the potential impact of Brexit from ETRC Secretary General Keith Spinks, as well as discussions about EU regulations on product labelling and the latest on tobacco regulation.

Budapest Airport CCO Kam Jandu will speak about the joint marketing initiative between Budapest Airport, Heinemann and Wizz Air. This cross-promotional initiative, on which we reported recently, is a travel retail marketing initiative that (unusually) involves an airline. The day will wrap up with a guided airport tour.
