CDF-Sunrise Duty Free celebrates new boutique beauty concept launch

CHINA. CDF-Sunrise Duty Free tonight hosted an evening of celebrations to mark today’s inauguration of eight luxury concept stores at Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 2. Retail and brand executives mixed with the press, KOLs and other VIPs for a spectacular night of entertainment followed by a select dinner for CDF-Sunrise partners and special guests.

As reported earlier, CDF-Sunrise Duty Free partnered with some of the most illustrious names in beauty – Clé de Peau Beauté, Dior, Estée Lauder, Guerlain, La Mer, La Prairie, Lancôme and Sisley – for the openings. The evening event kicked off with short speeches from all eight brands outlining the thinking behind these personalised, immersive and engaging premium beauty experiences.

The line-up of stand-alone beauty boutiques is a first of its kind for airport travel retail.

The Moodie Davitt Report is the exclusive travel retail media present and is marking the occasion with extensive B2B and B2C (via social media) coverage.

Reflecting the importance of this initiative to the beauty category – and to China travel retail – we will be producing a special eZine titled ‘CDF-Sunrise Duty Free and The Power of 8’ in coming days, featuring interviews with all the brands plus China Duty Free Group President Charles Chen.

CDF-Sunrise Duty Free brings the brands into the spotlight with stunning digital displays, complemented by memorable entertainment this evening.
The Moodie Davitt Report Chairman Martin Moodie is welcomed onboard for the evening.
