Airport Authority Hong Kong is seeking bids from licensed banks and describes the concession as an “extraordinary business opportunity”.
Avolta captures a ten-year contract for eight F&B stores at the new Noida International Airport. It will extend the Avolta India footprint to more than 100 outlets.
SSP America, which was awarded a ten-year contract to manage the F&B and retail programme at the airport, promises to deliver ‘Taste of Place’ with a focus on locally driven F&B concepts.
Categories on offer include luggage, sports fashion (two units), multi-brand fashion, shoes & sneakers, jewellery and toys.
The company opened a 170sq m store in January at the tourism gateway, which is managed by Aena Brasil.
Welcoming the agreement, the joint venture partnership (formed by the combination of Lagardère Travel Retail Pacific and Australian travel retailer AWPL in January 2022) pledged to deliver ‘next-generation’ travel essentials stores.
The agreement will see the Korean travel retailer continue to operate its concession for cosmetics, fragrances, fashion and accessories at the airport until 30 September 2027.
The consortium, now established as the New NAIA Infra Corp, won the US$3.05 billion contract after offering the largest revenue share of 82.2% to the government.
Bids close on 25 March for an open tender to secure an operator of airside and landside food & beverage and retail services at Chisinau International Airport.
The partnership will cover around 800sq m of duty-free space within the Passenger Terminal building, as well as around 75sq m in the freight terminal.
