Casillero del Diablo Route of Cabernet Sauvignon range makes inflight debut

SINGAPORE. KrisShop believes the introduction of Casillero del Diablo’s Route of Cabernet Sauvignon range onboard Scoot, through a partnership with 3Sixty Duty Free, will stimulate new revenues for the airline’s inflight retail.

The debut inflight listing for the travel retail exclusive trio of wines from the Concha y Toro brand makes the range the only still wine available in Scoot’s inflight brochure.

The range, which was exclusively introduced into travel retail in April, features wines from three different Chilean valleys

KrisShop CEO Chris Pok commented: “We are proud to be the first inflight retailer to launch this innovative range from Concha y Toro. KrisShop strives to redefine the inflight travel retail shopping experience, and essential to this is recognising what travellers are looking for and responding to the needs for rare and special products.”

Viña Concha y Toro Asia Pacific Regional Commercial Director Phillip Sancto added: “Since its launch in April this year, Route of Cabernet Sauvignon has had a very positive impact on the wine category at major Asian airports. We are excited to take the travel retail exclusive range to the skies with Singapore Airlines and 3Sixty, and look forward to further milestones in this partnership soon.”

The collaboration between the wine company, Scoot and 3Sixty Duty Free extends to the ecommerce platform krisshop.com, where 11 other wines from the Concha y Toro range are also available including Don Melchor, Marques de Casa Concha and Carmin de Peumo from Chile; 1000 Stories and Adorada from the United States; and Trivento from Argentina.
