UK. Cardiff Airport is inviting established duty and tax free retailers to bid for its duty free retail concession. The business is currently run by Dufry under the Nuance Tax & Duty Free brand.
The closing date for tender submission is 1700 on Friday 20 December.
The national airport for Wales welcomes over 1.66 million customers annually. The airport has direct flights to over 50 destinations, most of them in Europe, plus some long-haul flights to the Middle East, North Africa and Caribbean.
The airport company noted that it is “a significant driver of economy to the region, supporting over 1,900 aviation-related jobs”.
