Travel retail consumer technology specialist Capi will present its latest line-up of products, including virtual reality glasses and drones, on its Gadget Table at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore (Basement 2, H19).
The table, a centrepiece for Capi stores, is regarded as one of the company’s most successful marketing concepts.
Royal-Capi Lux Managing Director Peter Wiggers described the table as “a fine example of how we surprise and inspire travellers with unique gifts and gadgets”.
Capi said it is focusing on “emotion and a lifestyle experience rather than technical specifications” in its latest products.
The compact DJI Mavic Prone drone will feature along with PlayStation VR glasses. The company will also showcase Smart Home solutions and launch new packaging and logo for its private label brand Mitone. The products are developed exclusively for the travel retail market and designed for “fashion-sensitive and price-conscious travellers”.
“On the new packaging, the focus is on the product’s added value, rather than its technical specifications,” Wiggers said.
