OMAN. Capi has opened a franchise electronics store in Muscat Duty Free’s recently unveiled shopping complex at Muscat International Airport’s new terminal.
Capi’s store, which opened on 20 March, includes the company’s Gadget Table, a pre-selection of fast-selling, best-reviewed products via Travellers’ Choice, an ‘It’s Exclusive!’ cabinet and special offers.
Muscat Duty Free General Manager Martin Mullen said: “Our vision is to deliver the best shopping experience to our customers every time and this shows a perfect match with Capi’s vision to offer an inspiring shopping environment for travellers with the latest innovations and known brands. We are pleased with our partnership with Capi, since consumer electronics form an important and interesting addition to the broad retail mix we offer at Muscat International Airport.”

The new terminal at Muscat International Airport measures 580,000sq m and has capacity for 20 million passengers a year. The total retail area covers 32,000sq m of which 6,200sq m is dedicated to duty free, operated by Muscat Duty Free.
