Capi, the travel retail electronics specialist, is showcasing the new line of upmarket Hasselblad Lunar cameras at its shop at Amsterdam Airport.
The cameras, which retail at around €6,000 euros each, will be presented in the It’s Exclusive! showcase in Capi airport shops in Amsterdam Lounge 1 and 3, Frankfurt and Johannesburg.
Hasselblad has a long history of producing high quality, innovative cameras for professionals. The Lunar is Hasselblad’s first camera for consumers and the collection consists of a range of hand-made cameras.
The camera supports both compact and professional DSLR lenses. The user can choose a selection of quality materials – mahogany, olive wood, leather or carbon fibre – for the handgrip to personalise the camera. The camera will also be available in gold, platinum and palladium.

Target group present at airports
Explaining why Capi was chosen to sell the cameras, Gerrie Geijssen, General Manager Transcontinenta, Hasselblad’s distributor, said: “The Lunar is the ultimate consumer camera for those looking for luxury and quality, and is only available in a select number of locations.
