Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger signal high ambition for travel retail amid Singapore celebration

PVH is investing in accelerating the expansion of its Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands in travel retail. The company revealed details of its plans to business partners during an intimate dinner (hosted by Calvin Klein) in Singapore on Monday night as TFWA Asia Pacific kicked off. Sister PVH brand Tommy Hilfiger later hosted a memorable night in the city’s downtown district.

The company also aims to build on the existing presence of Calvin Klein (which grew sharply in with key partners in Asia in 2018) by leveraging the CK Performance and CK Underwear lines to further growth. “We also want to engage our customers with exciting travel retail experiences and digital innovations, including exclusive pop-ups and product capsules,” he said. Among the partner companies in attendance at the spectacular venue in central Singapore were China Duty Free Group, DFS Group, King Power (Thailand), King Power Group (Hong Kong) Dufry and Lagardère Travel Retail, with The Moodie Davitt Report representing the media.

PVH Corporation brand Tommy Hilfiger then celebrated its US heritage and DNA at the historic Capitol Theatre downtown. The evening had a 1970s disco twist, which was inspired by the Spring 2019 TOMMYNOW experiential runway held in Paris in March. The team welcomed around 200 guests who enjoyed live performances by DJ Linda Hao as well as drinks and food.
