Call for nominations: Championing Sense of Place at airports

INTERNATIONAL. An inspiring local artwork. Food that offers a taste of the region. A compelling range of traditional products in-store. Or design touches that connect the traveller to the airport throughout their journey.

All represent examples of the concept of Sense of Place in action at airports. Reviews of some of the finest executions have featured in our regular column in The Moodie Davitt e-Zine, in association with The Design Solution, throughout the past year.

Now, we are inviting readers to nominate and share their favourite examples of Sense of Place. These can be based on striking experiences or mesmerising moments while travelling around the world, or details of a successful implementation of a Sense of Place project.

We will highlight nominated examples of Sense of Place in the next column in our e-Zine series, which will also feature The Design Solution Founder and Director Robbie Gill’s review of his “best of the best” Sense of Place executions.

Please send your nominations to jason@moodiedavittreport.com or dermot@moodiedavittreport.com, or connect with us on our social media channels: Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
