Cairns Airport welcomes Travelex as exclusive foreign exchange provider

AUSTRALIA. Cairns Airport has welcomed Travelex to its retail services offer with three new outlets in T1 (international) in the departures lounge and arrivals halls and one outlet in T2 (domestic) departures Lounge, open to departing and arriving passengers. The company becomes the North Queensland Airport’s exclusive foreign exchange provider.

“Travelex offer a range of services that we believe will meet the demands of the diverse mix of passengers we welcome at Cairns Airport, which includes international visitors and local residents and other Australia-based people travelling overseas,” an airport spokesperson said.

Travelex Retail Country Manager, ANZ Vikki McCrory said that the company will offer a wide range of products and services.

travelex“Think cash for the small purchases like a taxi ride when you land at your destination and a Travelex Cash Passport card for the bigger purchases such as dinner for two,” Ms McCrory said.  “With Travelex, you can order currency online and pick up at Cairns Airport or exchange on the spot in-store at Cairns Airport before you depart for your holiday.

“Travelex is thrilled to be the new and exclusive foreign currency provider at Cairns Airport.”
