Bvlgari names Frederic Chehab as new Perfume Travel Retail Director for Asia Pacific

The well-regarded Frederic Chehab moves from the drinks sector into beauty, charged with driving the LVMH-owned brand’s business across Asia Pacific travel retail  

Italian luxury house Bvlgari has named Frederic Chehab as the new Asia Pacific Travel Retail Director for the brand’s Perfume Division effective 1 April. He has assumed the previously held by Canny Kwok, who retired in March.

In his new role, Chehab spearheads the strategic development of the brand’s perfume business, with a strong focus on elevating the brand experience and image in key travel retail locations. He reports to Bvlgari Asia Pacific Perfume Division Domestic and Travel Retail Managing Director Hervé Debacque.

A highly regarded industry professional, Chehab brings over 20 years of experience in travel retail. This includes a ten-year stint as a Senior Account Manager for Moët Hennessy Travel Retail Asia Pacific, overseeing key regional and global accounts. He was notable for opening the House of Hennessy in Hong Kong and Hainan.

Prior to this, he joined Parfums Christian Dior as Travel Retail Key Account Manager in 2012.

He also served as Asia Area Manager for Loewe Perfumes in Hong Kong in 2008 after an earlier stint as Area Manager for Bourjois in South Korea.

His expertise in the perfume category and his years of retail experience will be strong assets to ramp up business growth, Debacque said. ✈
