Butlers Chocolates targets gifting and self-treating with latest launches

Irish chocolatier Butlers Chocolates will reveal its latest collaboration with Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin at next month’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Green Village H50).

The premium range, designed for gifting, includes an eight-piece chocolate truffle box, 40% milk chocolate bar and 75g lemon truffle-centred bar. The products combine Butlers milk and white chocolate with the Irish gin brands’ 12 botanicals, gunpowder tea and a hint of Sardinian citrus.

Butlers will also feature new flavours, including 70% dark chocolate mint truffle discs, milk chocolate Almond & Coconut pieces, chewy caramels in creamy milk chocolate and salted dark chocolate in its Tasty Pieces snacking range.

Crafted using sustainably sourced cocoa, the Tasty Pieces are palm oil-free, with natural ingredients and flavourings and are presented in resealable, recyclable packaging.

Butlers targets ‘time-poor travellers’ with its new Protein+ Chocolate collection, featuring dark chocolate in Dark Chocolate Truffle, Coconut Truffle, Raspberry, Orange and Salt Caramels flavours.

During the Cannes show, Butlers will also showcase new on-pack iconography, designed to communicate the brand’s product attributes in a clear and simple way, while also creating strong shelf stand-out.
