Bristol Airport invites interest in foreign exchange tender

UK. Bristol Airport is readying a tender for foreign exchange services as it gears up to expand capacity to 10 million passengers per year. The existing contract expires in spring 2018.

The Southwest UK airport is the ninth largest in the country and the fifth largest outside of London. Over 8 million passengers have used the airport in 2017 so far.

The airport now has planning approvals in place to expand its capacity, having invested over £160 million (US$214 million) in new infrastructure and facilities since 2010.

Bristol Airport Head of Commercial Development Kate Ridgers said: “With the expiry of the existing agreement due in spring 2018, we wish to tender for the foreign exchange provision. We are looking for a key business partner to provide a first-class service to our passengers.”

Foreign exchange providers are invited to express their interest in writing by 15 December 2017. Interested parties should contact fxtender@bristolairport.com for further information.
