Brisbane Airport issues request for proposals for three domestic terminal F&B locations

AUSTRALIA. Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for three food & beverage locations within its domestic terminal.

The opportunities range from 18sq m to 259sq m and will be located on Level 2 (Departures) of the new Qantas Café Court. The sites will be complemented by a new retail mix of fashion, accessories and other speciality retail by 2020, BAC said.

F&B operators are invited to submit bids to operate one or all of the three locations, which include a curated food precinct inspired by the Asian style ‘hawker market’.

BAC recently completed the first stage of a retail redevelopment of its domestic terminal, which saw the introduction of 19 new retail concessions including an upgraded F&B offer.

The other proposed concepts are three side-by-side, quick service offerings with Mexican/Greek/Turkish cuisine, gourmet burgers, and Asian cuisine; and two high volume offers such as sushi, burgers, Mexican, Turkish, Greek or Asian.

The RFP will close at 4pm AEST on Thursday 1 November 2018.

For more information or to request a copy of the full RFP, please contact BAC Leasing Manager Airline and Retail Management Kyle Rae on +61 7 3139 8508, or by email at: kyle.rae@bne.com.au.
