AUSTRALIA. Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) has created a Vimeo link to showcase the airport’s International Terminal redevelopment.
The video, which can be accessed here, features excerpts from BAC’s December 2013 presentation of the development, along with footage of the current terminal and artist’s impressions of its future direction.
Commentary is provided by BAC CEO and Managing Director Julieanne Alroe, General Manager Airline and Retail Management Andrew Brodie, Head of Terminal Retail & Commercial Toby Innes, and Richards & Spence Architecture Director Ingrid Richards.
Tyler Brûlé, Chairman and CEO of design consultants Winkreative, also offers his insights into how the redevelopment seeks to embody the character of Brisbane and Queensland.
Work on the terminal redevelopment began in February, with a scheduled completion date of mid-2015 and budget of A$45 million (US$40.3 million).
