Braun aims to engage travel retail buyers with new Cannes showcase

German consumer electronics brand Braun will unveil a new stand at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes (Mediterranean Village P15).

Braun is focusing on personal care and the growing style category. It said its stand will offer a new approach to selling shavers and toothbrushes in travel retail. Braun representatives will encourage retail buyers to “become shoppers” and compare products through interaction with built-in screens.

Braun said its Braun and Oral-B are growing brands in travel retail. The company described its updated MultiGroomingKit range as a “successful sales driver” with a large target group. Braun added that the kit is also a successful example of co-branding in the category. It includes a Gillette Fusion shaver and a Braun multifunctional device and offers nine shaving, trimming and grooming options.
