The new seasonal limited-edtion from L’Eau d’Issey, Reflections in a Drop |
FRANCE. Beauté Prestige International has updated its L’Eau d’Issey feminine fragrance with a new limited-edition version called “Reflections in a Drop”. It will be available from August.
The new version takes on the “drop” theme of last year’s limited edition, called “Une Goutte sur un Pétale” (A Drop on a Petal). It features the same juice as the 2007 scent, itself a reinterpretation of the original L’Eau d’Issey, thanks to “guest notes” introduced by Firmenich’s Alberto Morillas.
The fragrance flacon is an opaline glass. The outer carton is encircled with multiple perforations that offer glimpses of the bottle inside.
The packaging is the work of guest designer Mathieu Lehanneur, a 2001 graduate of ENSCI-Les ateliers, who was awarded the city of Paris’s Grand Prix de la Création in 2006.
“My idea was to work on the packaging without adding any material, but by playing with the material itself, like a sculptor working on a block,” he explained.
L’Eau d’Issey Reflections in a Drop will be available as a 50ml and 100ml edt, priced at €49.50 and €69, respectively.
