USA. The Massachusetts Port Authority is inviting proposals from potential partners to manage the foreign currency exchange concession at Boston Logan Airport.

Services include the purchase or sale of currencies, the sale of travel insurance, travellers’ cheques, cash advances, money wire service and Notary Public services. The lease will run for a maximum of eight years from 1 October 2018.

The airport will conduct a pre-submission conference and site tour on 23 January. Sealed proposals must be received by 7 March. A decision on the preferred bidder is expected at the Authority’s board meeting on 21 June.

Travelex currently manages foreign exchange services across Boston Logan Airport’s terminals.
