Biotherm adds to Blue Therapy with Serum-In-Oil Night treatment

Biotherm has extended its Blue Therapy portfolio with a new product, Blue Therapy Serum-In-Oil Night. It will be available from September in travel retail Europe, the Middle East & Africa, South Korea and China. The Americas roll-out is scheduled for December.

The treatment is said to combine in one product the repair benefits of an oil and the efficacy of a serum, with the disadvantages of neither (oils can feel greasy; serums not nourishing enough). The formula features micro-droplets that are 20 times smaller than those within a classic emulsion. Blue Therapy Serum-In-Oil Night has a fresh texture that transforms on application to fuse beautifully into the skin, according to the brand.

The treatment contains Biotherm’s micro-algae oil which is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, the lipid composition of which closely matches the skin and blends with its cellular membranes. The result is visibly transformed skin overnight, “re-plumped, velvet-smooth and luminous”, Biotherm maintains. After one month’s use, Blue Therapy Serum-In-Oil Night is said to improve the appearance of wrinkles, bounce and radiance, all considered to be key characteristics of youthful skin.
