BIAL to introduce ten new commercial outlets at Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport

INDIA. Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL) has revealed ten new brands will join the commercial line-up at Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport.

The airport operator aims to enrich the retail and dining experience with nine new food & beverage options and a retail store set to open later this year.

Premium Italian fashion accessories brand Brics and international casual dining concept Harvest Market will make their Indian debut at the airport. Other concepts include South Indian quick-service, bakery & confectionery, quick-service pizzeria, North Indian quick service, coffee lounges and a South Indian coffee and tea outlet. Seven of the F&B outlets will be on the concourse and two will be inside the terminal.

The openings will be phased between June and December. The airport currently houses 35 retail outlets and 35 F&B counters.

The new concessions are the result of a search conducted with French firm PT&M, a global travel retail tender evaluator, on an online platform developed by Government of India. The aim of the tender was to create a “stress-free and fun” retail experience at Bengaluru Airport.
