“Better than expected” beginning for City Duty Free at Incheon T2

SOUTH KOREA. City Duty Free reports a positive start for its two stores at Incheon International Airport’s new Terminal 2, which opened last week.

As reported, the retailer was awarded one of the concessions set aside for small & medium enterprises (SMEs) at T2. It manages some 230sq m of shopping space, selling a mix of fashion, accessories, destination merchandise and food.

Senior Managing Director of Merchandising Allen Hong told The Moodie Davitt Report, “Sales are turning out better than expected. We feature Kenzo, Lancel and Jungkwanjang (a premium Korean ginseng brand) and some other items.”
