GERMANY. Over 33 million passengers flew from Berlin Schönefeld and Berlin Tegel airports combined in 2017, a +1.3% increase year-on-year.
Berlin Schönefeld handled 12,865,312 passengers, up +10.4%. At Tegel, traffic fell -3.4% to 20,460,688.
Passenger traffic at both airports combined for December 2017 was down -17.1% on the previous year to 2,158,590. Schönefeld served 978,366 passengers in the month (-5.3%), while Tegel handled 1,180,224, -24.8% fewer than last year.
