Bengaluru International seeks bids for retail and food & beverage contracts

INDIA. Bids for several retail and food & beverage opportunities at Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport are due by 18 December. These include a fashion & accessories store that can be operated as either duty free or duty paid.

Bengaluru Kempegowda International Airport posted a +22.5% surge in passenger traffic in 2016 to 22.18 million

The airport issued several Request for Proposals (RFPs) in late September covering numerous commercial opportunities. These included:

  • An 88sq m fashion & accessories store in departures, operated as either duty free or duty paid
  • A landside 39sq m international casual dining outlet
  • A landside 34sq m South Indian cuisine quick service offer
  • A landside 23sq m bakery & confectionery operation
  • A landside 36sq m quick-service pizzeria
  • A landside 39sq m North Indian cuisine quick-service outlet
  • A 25sq m coffee lounge in arrivals
  • A 99sq m coffee lounge in the check-in hall
  • A landside 18sq m South Indian coffee business
  • A landside 18sq m tea outlet
