‘Beat the heat with cool offers’ – Mumbai Airport launches 70-day Summer shopping carnival 

INDIA. Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport has launched a shopping ‘extravaganza’ for the Summer season. More than 100 retail and food & beverage outlets are participating in the campaign, which commenced yesterday and ends on 2 July.

The 70-day shopping carnival – under the theme ‘Beat the heat with cool offers’ – offers discounts up to -15% on various menu items at some of the most popular F&B venues.

These include offers from The Beer Café, Meeso Bar, The Great Indian Kebab Grill Bar, Bercos, New York Burrito Company, Chef Café, Irani Café, Chai Point and Tibb’s Frankie. 

Opium, Sunglass Hut, Hamleys, Parcos, Fab-India and Rare Planet are among the participating retailers. Discounts are available in categories including fashion, accessories, confectionery, gifts and souvenirs.   

CSMIA has placed QR codes near the shopping areas, which passengers can scan to discover the various offers and promotions. 

According to Airports Authority of India, Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport served 4.2 million passengers in March, up +139% year-on-year. ✈
