Beam Suntory makes organisational changes and appoints new travel retail managing director

Beam Suntory has realigned its business structure and appointed a new managing director for Asia Pacific and Global Travel Retail.

The drinks company’s International region has been realigned from six business units to three: Asia Pacific and Global Travel Retail; Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA); and India. At the same time, its Japan region will now also include its China business unit.

As a result, previous Managing Director – Oceania John Rosair has been promoted to Managing Director, Asia Pacific & Global Travel Retail. Rosair has led the company’s Oceania business since 2015. He has relocated to Singapore for the new role.

Andrea Parker, currently Commercial Director for Global Travel Retail, APAC, will succeed Rosair as Managing Director, Oceania, effective 1 July. Parker has led Beam Suntory’s global travel retail business in Asia Pacific since 2016.

“We saw an opportunity to streamline our international regional structure to further accelerate our successful growth strategies, and provide greater leadership opportunities for our top talent,” said Beam Suntory President, International Pryce Greenow.

“We are confident that these changes will empower our teams to drive sustained market performance though greater commercial agility and more consistent ways of working.”
