Beam Suntory and ARI launch Kilbeggan 11 Year Old at Dublin Airport

Beam Suntory’s Kilbeggan is launching its first limited-edition Irish single malt whiskey – Kilbeggan 11 Year Old – in global travel retail on 10 May.

The expression will be available exclusively at Aer Rianta International’s (ARI) The Loop at Dublin Airport, through the Irish Whiskey Collection.

Using traditional methods, the 11 Year Old is distilled in copper pot stills, and matured in American bourbon casks before being finished in Moscatel wine casks.

The Kilbeggan expression (40% ABV) has a recommended retail price of US$65.

Established in 1757 and named after the town where it is located, the Kilbeggan distillery is the oldest continuously licensed distillery in Ireland.

Kilbeggan is committed to crafting original Irish whiskey, uses traditional methods, such as double distillation.

Its core range includes Kilbeggan Traditional, Black and Single Grain, in addition to limited-edition heritage releases.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Amber

Nose: Woody notes are followed by honeysuckle and citrus and an earthy finish

Taste: Earthy flavours and woody notes with hints of peach

Finish: Lively with a slight fizziness and a lingering warm finish with intense spice notes.
