SOUTH KOREA. Some familiar names top Korean Air’s inflight duty free best-selling list for April.

Perennial Korean favourite Ballantine’s led the Scotch whisky rankings, boosted by a major promotion to coincide with the Ballantine’s Golf Championship on the island of Jeju on 23-26 April.

Inniskillin again did well – the only non-spirit brand to appear in the top-selling liquors. And independent Cognac house Camus will be delighted with its top ranking in the non-Scotch category.

Korean Air is the world’s leading inflight retailer, having posted sales of US$183 million in 2008.
