Sijesh Janardhan has been named Regional Manager at Bacardi Global Travel Retail Middle East & Africa, effective immediately. Based in Dubai, he reports to Bacardi Global Travel Retail Managing Director Vinay Golikeri.
Janardhan joined Bacardi Global Travel Retail in 2015 as Regional Advocacy Manager and took on the role of Area Manager Gulf & Levant in 2019. The appointment synchronises with the promotion of Sandeep Chugh from Regional Manager, Bacardi Global Travel Retail MEA to Commercial Manager, Bacardi Gulf in the domestic AMEA region.
Golikeri said: “Sijesh brings a wealth of expertise and commercial understanding of the Gulf & Levant together with valuable category and consumer insights. As travel retail emerges from the pandemic, Sijesh will play an important role in partnering with our customers in MEA as we collaborate to shape future opportunities at key hubs in this dynamic region. I would also like to thank Sandeep Chugh for his regional leadership since 2017 and to wish him every success in his new role in our domestic business in the Gulf.”
