Autogrill estimates €84 million revenue from Manchester contract win

UK. Autogrill Group has estimated it will secure total revenues of €84 million (US$92.75 million) from the contract to operate five food & beverage outlets in the extended terminal at Manchester Airport.

As revealed at the FAB Conference in Dallas, Autogrill-owned HMSHost International secured an F&B contract on a term of five to seven years. The operator will bring KFC, Wrapchic, Pot Kettle Black, Amber Alehouse and VIT to the UK’s third busiest airport.

Amber Alehouse will feature beers from local craft brewers

The planned concepts are in line with Manchester Airport Head of Retail Mike Ward’s vision for the £1 billion (US$1.23 billion) terminal. He stressed the importance of creating a “richer and deeper” Sense of Place in the airport and sought to engage with local brands.

Pot Kettle Black is a coffee and bakehouse concept popular in Manchester

Pot Kettle Black is a local favourite coffee house and Amber Alehouse will be a modern gastropub inspired by Manchester’s industrial heritage featuring local craft beers from Seven Bro7hers.

VIT will offer healthy fresh juices and food

KFC is making its debut at Manchester Airport, while Wrapchic will bring a fusion of modern Indian and Mexican street food to the airport and Autogrill Group brand VIT will offer healthy juices and bar food.
