Aude Bourdier named to senior travel retail marketing role with Brown-Forman

Aude Bourdier: New industry role for the well-known and respected travel retail drinks executive.

Experienced, highly respected industry figure Aude Bourdier has been named Marketing Director for Brown-Forman Global Travel Retail and Developed APAC. The region includes the domestic markets of Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand along with global travel retail.

The announcement was made by Brown-Forman Senior Vice President, Managing Director, Global Travel Retail & Developed APAC Marshall Farrer.

The role is effective from 5 November. Bourdier will be based in London and will report both to Farrer and Brown-Forman Head of Marketing for International Regions Sophia Angelis.

Bourdier was most recently with Bacardi-Martini where she served as Regional Director Europe for Travel Retail. She previously held a similar role for Asia Pacific and has also served as Global Marketing and Sales Director for Bacardi French Brands and Châteaux de Cognac.

Farrer said: “Aude Bourdier is not just an established presence in the global travel retail channel but is a highly respected professional with a wealth of experience in important markets across Asia and the Pacific. She will be a terrific addition to the Brown-Forman team.”

Bourdier earned her Masters in International Business Management from the Institut Superieur de Gestion and completed further international business management studies in the USA and Asia.

She has been elected to the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) Management Committee several times and served on the organisation’s board as Vice President, Commercial. She will be relocating to London from Geneva.
