Auchentoshan unveils first-ever pop-up in Taiwan Taoyuan Airport

Sampling, personalisation and interactive educational elements bring Auchentoshan’s single malt whiskies to life at the pop-up

Beam Suntory-owned whisky house Auchentoshan has partnered with Ever Rich Duty Free to open its first-ever pop-up at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. The pop-up is located in the Terminal 2 Departures Hall and will run until September 2022.

It offers a Taiwan duty free-exclusive range of aged whiskies. It also offers the brand’s popular travel retail-exclusive American Oak Reserve, Blood Oak and Dark Oak expressions, which were launched in global travel retail in October 2019.

The playful animation features a bright orange colour palette, emphasising the richness of Auchentoshan’s single malts. A bold ‘A’ invites travellers into the vibrant space, which features interactive educational and digital elements that educate shoppers about Auchentoshan’s portfolio .

Auchentoshan’s single malts are on full display at the animation, with free samples available at the bar. Customers can also draft personalised messages on their purchases at the gifting area.

The opening follows the easing of COVID entry requirements for travellers entering Taiwan. According to the partners, airport footfall has been steadily increasing, with significant sales growth expected in the second half of 2022.
