Atelier Cologne partners with CDFG in pioneering pop-up at Haitang Bay

L’Oréal Travel Retail Asia Pacific and China Duty Free Group (CDFG) last week celebrated the first China pop-up store for artisan fragrance brand Atelier Cologne.

The pop-up, at China Duty Free’s Haitang Bay Duty Free Shopping Center in Sanya, Hainan was designed to “elevate the bar” in driving Atelier Cologne’s presence in China.

L’Oréal Travel Retail Asia Pacific said that Atelier Cologne has posted triple-digit sales growth in  Asia Pacific travel retail this year.

Atelier Cologne invited consumers at the pop-up on a sensorial journey to discover its Cologne Absolues. Activities included tasting Cologne Absolue-inspired mocktails; exploring the Cologne Absolue-inspired music videos by Jay Chou (the brand’s Chinese ambassador) via a digital sample vending machine; and posing by a holiday photo wall inspired by the Parisian skyline.
