Areas brings local Asian success story Leeann Chin to Minneapolis-Saint Paul

Areas has opened fast-casual Asian restaurant Leeann Chin at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) Terminal 1. The local favourite operates more than 50 street side locations in the city.

“We’re thrilled to bring Leeann Chin to MSP,” said Areas in the United States CEO Sergio Rodriguez,. “This concept is best in its class, and is a celebration of the diverse culinary scene in Minnesota.”

With more than 50 outlets in the city, Leeann Chin is sure to be a hit at the airport

Presented buffet style, as well as a grab-and-go section, Leeann Chin offers classic Asian food. Unique to this airport outlet is a breakfast menu which, in addition to classic items, features exclusives like the Breakfast Bahn Mi and Strawberry Preserve Wontons.

The bar features an extensive list of wines, beers, and cocktails, some prepared with an Asian twist such as the Lychee-tini and the Japanese Whiskey High Ball.

“To be afforded the opportunity to operate at MSP and share our brand not only with our many loyal local followers, but also the many incoming passengers from around the globe, is such an incredible opportunity,” said Leeann Chin COO Mike Loney.

“We couldn’t be more excited to operate at such an amazing airport.”
