AOE opens second office in the USA to meet rising demand

USA. Global technology service provider AOE has opened a second office in the USA.

The office is located in Miami and aims to meet rising demand on the east coast and in South America, the company said.

The team there is responsible for the further expansion of the company’s Omnichannel Multi-Merchant Marketplace (OM³) solution for the travel retail segment in North and South America. The OM³ suite helps multi-retailer venues such as airports to fuse offline and online experiences into a single suite of software applications and services, AOE said.

Kian Gould: “The travel retail sector is currently undergoing a drastic upheaval”

“The Miami metro area is critical to our growth on the east coast, as well as our other strategic goals in the USA and South America – and here we’re even closer to key customers than in our San Francisco office,” said AOE founder and CEO Kian Gould.

“A year ago, we underwent a comparable process with the opening of our Dubai office. Here, too, we consciously sought proximity to existing and potential customers in order to optimally advance our development.”

Gould said the new development site would grow to approximately 50 employees in the medium-term.

“The travel retail sector is currently undergoing a drastic upheaval. All stakeholders, especially airports and airlines, need to rethink their business model for generating non-aviation revenues, if they want to survive,” said Gould.

“With our OM³ suite, which we have already successfully implemented at Frankfurt Airport, Auckland Airport and London Heathrow Airport, we give customers a solution to ensure long-term, sustainable growth.”
