ANDS Co-founder and President Fadi Maayta said: “This new development is in line with ANDS travel retail expansion mirroring our domestic deployment in the region and beyond. We continue our journey to reach out to 140 million adult smokers across the MENA region, providing them with better alternatives, with the potential to reduce harm compared to combustible cigarettes.”

ANDS Head of Travel Retail Business Arnaud Piorkowski added: “We are proud of our partnership with IDFS in Morocco, addressing the demand of the regional and international travellers through our leading portfolio. This marks another milestone in our travel retail expansion, being recognised as the category advisor for Alternative Nicotine Delivery Solutions.”

As reported, ANDS became a member of MEADFA (the Middle East & Africa Duty Free Association) last year, as the company seeks to grow its international travel retail footprint. It has a strong commercial and operational presence across the Middle East and Africa, with new developments in Europe and Asia.

ANDS was founded in 2020, with a mission to “lead the evolution of a new era of a cigarette-free Middle East & Africa”.
