Andrew Ford: Voice of experience

INTERNATIONAL. Experienced travel retail and airport commercial revenues executive and consultant Andrew Ford has been elected Chair of Airports Council International (ACI) World Business Partners (WBP) programme.

Ford is the Founder and CEO of Hong Kong-based Paccaya Resources, which advises airports on improving non-aeronautical revenues. He was Vice President, Global Business Development for DFS Group from 2006 to 2016 and before that CEO of Tax Free World Association (1999-2006)

The WBP programme provides a unique platform for businesses to interact with the airport industry, build a network of airport key decision makers and explore new business opportunities.

ACI membership comprises 1,853 airports in 173 countries, allowing World Business Partners an excellent way of connecting with airports worldwide. The WBP programme has an Advisory Board made up of representatives from each ACI region.

Ford is also a member of the ACI Asia-Pacific Task Force COVID-19 and has been on the board of the ACI Asia Pacific WBP programme for a number of years. Additionally, he is a member of the ACI World Economics Standing Committee and of its newly created Airport Non-Aeronautical Revenues and Activities sub-committee.
