Altia partners with Hernö gin in Nordic drinks alliance

Leading Nordic wine and spirits company Altia has sealed an exclusive representation agreement with Swedish gin distillery Hernö in Nordic and Baltic markets, effective from 3 September.

Altia will represent Hernö gin in travel retail in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Estonia and Latvia. The collaboration will include retail and HoReCa (Hotel/Restaurant/Café) sales.

Altia produces, imports, markets, sells and distributes both own and partner brand beverages. Its core own brands include Koskenkorva, Chill Out, Blossa, Larsen, O.P. Anderson, Renault, Xanté and Valhalla.

Hernö was founded in Dala, Sweden, in 2011. The brand claims to be the most awarded gin in Europe, with more than 70 awards to its credit. It took TheDrinksReport.com World’s Best Gin title in 2017 and 2018 and was named International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) Gin Producer of the Year in 2016 and 2017.
