Ajmal aims to create “something special” for customers with new travel exclusives

Middle Eastern perfume company Ajmal has released several new travel retail-exclusive fragrances as it looks to create more exclusivity for travelling consumers.

Two oriental fragrances have been launched, Taaj Al Raas Oudh Blend and Amber Supreme, and one musk-inspired scent, called Pearlescent Black. All three are designed around the aromas of Arabia, said Ajmal.

Ajmal has also created a travel retail-exclusive mini set of its signature series. The set, described as a collectable, includes the brand’s top-selling Amber Musc, Violet Musc and Amber Wood scents in 30ml bottles.

“Our focus is to create more exclusivity for the travelling audience, something unique for them to take back home for either themselves or their loved ones,” said Ajmal.

The travel retail exclusives have launched in all of Ajmal’s duty free locations and on 15 airlines, and are so far performing well, according to the brand.

“We have been pleased with the overall impact within the travel retail arena. So far, we are well ahead of the targets we have set, with our travel retail exclusive products doing exceedingly well.

“We are really proud of our performance onboard KLM Airlines, Oman Air and with Tourvest Duty Free to name a few. As for on the ground, we have done exceedingly well in Best Value Duty Free in Romania, Abu Dhabi Duty Free and Dubai Duty Free,” Ajmal concluded.
