Airport Dimensions’ Club SEA relocates at Seattle-Tacoma International

USA. Lounge, hospitality and travel experiences company Airport Dimensions has relocated The Club airport lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to a larger space. The updated experience now resides in the S Concourse above Gate S9 on the penthouse level.

With a floor area of over 8,100sq ft, Club SEA offers 165 seats – a +33% capacity jump from the old lounge – as well as six seats at the lounge’s full-service bar.

Airport Dimensions said the new space is designed to reflect the rich culture and history of Seattle, with the interior design’s ocean-to-forest inspired colour pallet aiming to provide guests with a Pacific Northwest Sense of Place.

The Club SEA’s full-length windows allow guests to take in panoramic views of the airfield and Mount Rainier.

Eleven artworks are showcased, in the main created by Seattle-based artists. Airport Dimensions said the art acquisitions are further investments in the local community and diversity, as the artwork comes principally from women-owned galleries.

The food menu features a ginger chicken rice bowl with stir fried vegetables and a superfood sunrise oatmeal. In the bar, drinks options include craft beer from Seattle-based Elysian Brewing Company alongside selected regional wines from the state of Washington.

Amenities and services available in Club SEA include free wifi, a hydration station, designated working zones and shower facilities.

In line with Airport Dimensions corporate policy, The Club SEA operates sustainably through the lounge’s 100% plastic-free service with the removal of all plastic drink stirrers and straws. These have been replaced with natural bamboo and compostable options.

As part of Airport Dimensions’ ‘Pours with a Purpose’ programme, a portion of the profits from all wine purchases at The Club lounges is donated to a variety of good causes. These include charities working to tackle hunger across the US, providing support to military veterans’ initiatives and raising funds to support ovarian cancer screening.

Airport Dimensions President Americas Nancy Knipp said: “The Club SEA’s new space offers guests an inviting and relaxed space that, in common with our other new-style lounges, will pay homage to the culture of the city it serves and the surrounding area, incorporating local elements throughout its design.”

She added: “The refreshed lounge is an outstanding example of how we at Airport Dimensions blend market leading expertise and cutting-edge facilities to enhance the travel experience of passengers.

The Club SEA – which has now had a presence at Sea-Tac Airport for seven years – is available to members of Priority Pass, the world’s largest independent airport lounge and experiences programme, along with LoungeKey, both of which are part of Airport Dimensions’ parent company Collinson.

The lounge is also available to all passing through Seattle-Tacoma Airport via the purchase of a Club Pass online or at the lounge.

Port of Seattle Interim Director of Aviation Business and Properties Jeff Moken said: “The opening of newly relocated The Club SEA is a much-anticipated enhancement for the S Concourse with the return of international travel.

“From the Pacific Northwest art and aesthetic of the space, the Port is deepening its investments in the Club experience for travellers. We are ready to welcome you at The Club SEA.”
